The San Diego City Council asked Goldsmith to draft new pot shop zoning regulations to replace the current one. That is expected to take about a month.

The District Attorney is expected to file murder charges against the man accused of beating a prominent San Diego architect to death. 31-year-old Higinio Soriano Salgado worked for 56-year-old Grahm Downes and was at Downes’s house for a party and they got into a fight Salgado beat Downes so severely he is now brain dead. After about an hour someone was taken into custody, however at this time there is no confirmation yet that he is the son or another suspect. What I do have confirmed is that the man in custody is thought to be involved somehow. Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives will send out more info later.

This morning at 8:30 the arraignment for the man accused of kidnapping and Sexually assaulting a woman walking home in the San Diego beach community of Ocean Beach will happen.
