The Princess Cruises line ship Crown Princess is pulling into San Diego with 83 people onboard sick with norovirus. The ship has over 3000 passengers and over 11-hundred crew. In a statement Princess Cruises says …
“Some passengers aboard a cruise ship touring the West Coast are having a rough trip … All individuals who are ill (currently 66 passengers and 17 crew members), have been isolated in their cabins until they are not contagious … none of the passengers elected to leave the ship and that everyone onboard is instructed to frequently wash their hands”
The ship is pulling in between 7:00 and 8:00 AM
This morning after 8:30 the USS McClusky is leaving San Diego this morning for a deployment in Central and South America. The guided-missile frigate and its 215 sailors are going to be working with other countries to stop drug trafficking. Two-years ago in a similar operation the McClusky seized over 10-thousand pounds of cocaine.
