Nurse to air new allegations against Filner
SAN DIEGO — A nurse who asked Mayor Bob Filner to help an injured Marine will discuss allegations that Filner made unwanted sexual advances toward her at a news conference today, Attorney Gloria Allred said.
The woman was accosted by Filner when she met with Filner to discuss getting help for the Marine, who had been seriously injured in Iraq, Allred said.
Allred, the nurse and the Marine will discuss the incident at a 12:30 p.m. news conference at a hotel in downtown San Diego, according to a news release from Allred’s office.
