The Escondido Police Department is on the hunt for a man suspected of killing his wife this morning.

46-year-old Jesus “Tony” Flores Hernandez is suspected of killing his 43-year-old wife Juana Montalvo some at before 11:00 AM yesterday. Their son called police saying he couldn’t wake his mother and when officers arrived they found the woman’s body. Hernandez is about 5 foot 6 inches, 150 pounds, black hair, and was last seen driving a tan four-door 2004 GMC Canyon pickup. Escondido Police Department says that if you see him call 911 and to not engage him.

In court today

First in San Diego’s courthouse at 8:30 this morning lawyers representing animal rights activists are asking a judge to issue a temporary restraining order against the San Diego Police Department. The activists want to protest the way animals are treated by the Ringling Brothers Circus and say they will be falsely arrested.

Then this afternoon at 1:30 also in San Diego’s Courthouse Jamarious Porche, Askia Toure, Joseph Ragland, and Michael McGinnis are all on the calendar to be arraigned for a robbery series. At least 11 of the victims were pistol wiped during the robberies.

This morning about 100 foster kids are going to go to Camp Connect with their brothers and sisters. These kids couldn’t be placed with their siblings and this camp is an opportunity for them to spend some time together.

Then at 11 am kids from the Burn Institute are going to their camp called Camp Beyond the Scars at La Jolla Shores. The four-hour beach day camp is for burn patients from 5 to 17 years-old.
