Three former supporters of San Diego’s Mayor Bob Filner are accusing him of sexual harassment. Former Councilwoman Donna Frye along with two lawyers Marco Gonzalez and Cory Briggs are also calling for the Mayor to resign. Frye wrote in a letter to the mayor that she has “received credible evidence of more than one woman being sexually harassed by you.” Mayor Filner has been embroiled in one scandal after another lately. First he’s being accused of having a quid pro quo arrangement with a developer for donations to the city. Then two top staffer quite saying he was impossible to work with and has lost his way politically. His girlfriend dumped him. And now these sexual harassment accusations.

The claims will be addressed this morning in a press conference at 10:00 at the Briggs Law offices. Political junkies are fascinated to see what comes next and if it’s possible for him to survive.

In unrelated political news at 11:30 this morning California’s Governor Jerry Brown is signing legislation that offers sales tax exemptions and creates some investment incentives.
