Father who left injured child at crash scene faces judge


[trib_ndn vid=24868438]SAN DIEGO, CA – It was an emotional day outside a downtown courtroom as 40-year old Angelo Fabiani Arroyo was arraigned on charges of child endangerment and felony hit and run.

“Imagine your son falling from your arms?” cried family member Martha Tolles, as she made a public plea in Fabiani Arroyo’s defense, “please people  have sympathy.”

The 40-year-old father of two entered a plea of not guilty.

“He’s a beautiful father, great father, a loving father,” sobbed Tolles through tears. “This was a horrific accident. He tried to save the baby.”

Arroyo is charged with child endangerment and felony hit-and-run after crashing his truck over an embankment in the Midway area Sunday night and leaving his injured 4-year-old boy, Valentino.

“As soon as he fabiani arroyounbuckled the car seat the boy felt through the window 7 feet below on the concrete,” said deputy district attorney Teresa Santana.
