A La Mesa Middle School boy that posed as a girl on line getting classmates to send him naked pictures may now face felony child pornography charges. According to a KGTV story the boy’s scheme was an attempt to get revenge against bullies. Reportedly at least one of the photos was posted on Facebook.

This afternoon at 3:30 San Diego’s Mayor Bob Filner is expected to sign the controversial Tourism Marketing District or TMD deal. Filner’s controversial refusal to sign the deal was the focus of lots of media attention in the past few months. The deal takes a 2 percent surcharge from hotel room rates, and then the money is used to promote San Diego as a tourist destination. Stoking the fire the mayor wanted the TMD to pay for more city projects and events. It went to court, the city attorney got involved, lots of press conferences, even some name calling. But a deal has been reached and it’s finally … most likely … going to be signed.

In court today…

The opening statements for a nursing assistant accused of abusing a severely autistic man

And the sentencing of Perry Allen Korol … he pleaded guilty to burglarizing nine rooms at the La Costa Resort and Spa.
